SLOUGH’S VOLKSWAGEN RETAILER EXTENDS ITS OFFERING
Windrush Volkswagen has undergone a transformation resulting in a complete one stop shop for Slough customers.
The Farnham Road retailer now covers a 1.25 acre site, boasting a greatly extended showroom, used car forecourt and state of the art workshop bays in a £900,000 refurbishment programme.
Its former neighbours, an old petrol station and garage repair centre, were redeveloped for the new extended Volkswagen site.
Windrush’s welcoming entrance is a startling contrast compared to its former building. The showroom now displays up to 15 Volkswagen models including the recently launched Scirocco GT 2.0 litre.
The sophisticated servicing area includes 18 workshop bays with the very latest diagnostic testing equipments, exclusive MOT units and a specialist four-wheel alignment facility to improve vehicle handling and tyre wear.
The re-development will enhance the service for Volkswagen customers as Tim Attwood, Windrush’s dealer principal explains: “The Slough site has been an immense project, taking 24 months to complete but one that we believe will provide our customers with a significantly enhanced service.
“In addition to the Slough redevelopment we have also launched an exclusive servicing centre in Maidenhead. We feel this is a clear demonstration of Windrush’s commitment in delivering a comprehensive and professional service for our customers,” added Tim.
